Balaklava Courthouse Gallery

Air-conditioned gallery and gift shop. Free Admission. Wheelchair access.

The historic Balaklava Courthouse, built in 1913, was converted into an Art Gallery and Gift Shop when offered to the community.

Since the Gallery was opened in 1991, the communtiy has enjoyed regular exhibitions by South Australian artists and craft people. Exhibition space is available to all artists.

The Gallery is administered by a Management Committee and supervised by volunteers. The Gallery is available for hire for meetings and small functions.

The Balaklava Art Group is a small group of amateur artists who paint together for inspiration and motivation. They meet at the Balaklava Courthouse Gallery on the 1st Monday of each month from 10am until "lunchtime-or-later".
